Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience - 2–3 years of professional experience in software engineering - Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js for both frontend and backend development - Experience or exposure to writing automated tests for frontend and backend applications - Understanding of CI/CD tools and workflows - Basic knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL, or key-value stores) - Experience with additional programming languages such as Python, Go, Scala, or PHP is a plus

Responsibilities

- Build fullstack systems that collect, process, and display user-generated content (UGC) at scale - Develop reliable backend services and APIs for reviews, photos, and ratings - Create intuitive, responsive interfaces that encourage traveler contributions - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers) to improve the traveler journey - Use data and feedback to refine ranking, personalization, and recommendations
