Requirements
Must:
- Higher education (engineering school or university) in a relevant field or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with VMware (ESXi, vCenter, vSphere) in a production environment
- High level of intervention experience in high-volume and critical environments
- Experience in major upgrades in production and maintenance management
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Good knowledge of tools (monitoring/observability, logging, management)
- Resident in Switzerland or willingness to relocate
Responsibilities
- Ensure the stability and high-volume VMware infrastructure
- Maintain VMware infrastructure by handling complex hypervisor and hardware incidents (ESXi, firmware, disks, HBA, Pure storage)
- Guarantee stability and consistency of multi-vCenter environments in banking production
- Participate in projects: upgrade to vSphere 9
- Industrialize storage via scripting (Python, PowerShell)
