Requirements
Must:
β’ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
β Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related technical field
β 2+ years of experience with frontend development
β Experience with Typescript, React, and firebase
β Passion, discipline, and dedication to clean code and simple architecture
β Strong critical thinking attitude and the ability to work independently
β Interest in EdTech
β Eligibility to work in Switzerland: Must be a Swiss/EU/EFTA citizen or hold a valid Swiss work permit
β Fluent in English
β Excited about working in a mainly on-site team.
Nice to have:
β Masterβs degree in Computer Science or a related technical field β Experience with react-native β Experience with automated testing, CI/CD β Basic understanding of GermanResponsibilities
β’ Develop and implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, as well as performant and scalable logical components for the app based on react-native
β’ Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth connectivity
β’ Transform UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive code for mobile devices
β’ Write and execute tests, perform debugging, and conduct code reviews
β’ Work closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality products
β’ Suggest improvements and new features to enhance product functionality

Interview Process Overview
β’ Coding Exercise: A timed coding challenge to assess your coding skills and problem-solving abilities
β’ Video Call: A friendly introductory call to discuss your experiences with a light technical question related to past projects
β’ Onsite Interviews:
β TECHNICAL: In-depth discussion of your past experiences; you may be asked to code a simple React component and redesign a screen from the app
β BEHAVIORAL: An interview assessing cultural fit, led by Sam, focusing on authenticity, openness, collaboration, and the ability to admit mistakes
β’ Experience Day:
β Spend a full day with the team, working on a brief assignment such as prototyping a new feature or improving a screen in the app
β Engage with the team during collective activities such as lunch and post-assignment discussions to evaluate mutual fit and work culture
