## Lead Solution Architect – Secure On-Prem & Private Cloud (Contract) ### Overview We are looking for an experienced **Lead Solution Architect** to take a senior, end-to-end role in the design and governance of **high-security on-premise and private cloud environments**. This is a **strategic architecture and leadership role** at the intersection of infrastructure, security, and compliance, embedded in complex, long-running programs within a **defense-tech and critical-infrastructure context**. The mandate is contract-based, starting around **February**, with an initial duration of **6 months** and a realistic extension up to **18 months**, depending on project progress. ### Required Experience & Skills We are looking for someone who brings: * Several years of experience as **Solution Architect or Lead Architect** in complex infrastructure projects * Strong background in **on-premise / private cloud architectures** * Proven exposure to security and compliance frameworks, especially * ISO/IEC 27001 * NIST standards * Hands-on or architectural experience with at least one of the following: * Nutanix * HPE Sovereign Private Cloud / HPE GreenLake * Ability to operate confidently in security-critical and regulated environments * Strong analytical, conceptual, and documentation skills * Clear communication style with both technical teams and management * Architect high-impact, non-commodity infrastructure * Work at senior level with real decision authority * Long-running mandate with extension potential * Technically challenging, not buzzword-driven * High autonomy, clear expectations, and strong governance * Security & Compliance: This role requires eligibility for a Swiss PSP (personal security screening) due to the sensitive nature of the projects.
