Requirements
Must:
• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of virtualization and networking.
• Typically, 2+ years of work experience with a focus on projects using Python, Docker & Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Passionate about Software Craftsmanship: Solid understanding of software development principles and clean code.
• Structured and self-reliant approach.
• Learning ability and continuous improvement.
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of functional programming • Experience working on Kubernetes and/or GCP Security (especially network security and OAuth2 authentication) • Experience with Kubernetes monitoringResponsibilities
• Bring a strong desire to learn and understand systems in depth.
• Design and develop clean and maintainable software solutions, processes and systems that our applications run on.
• Identify and analyse bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and pain points in the software development process, for instance within CI/CD or the software build system.
• Collaborate with the team to streamline workflows, eliminate manual tasks, and automate repetitive processes.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the overall quality and consistency of the codebase.
