Muss:
A fast-growing fintech company in Zurich is looking for a hands-on IT Operations Lead to help scale its cloud-native platform.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes ownership, and knows how to build and maintain secure, resilient systems — without overcomplicating things. You’ll be working with a team that values clean execution, modern DevOps practices, and cloud infrastructure that just works. If Azure is your comfort zone, Kubernetes doesn’t scare you, and you’ve led teams through real-world operational challenges, this could be the right next step.
Who are you?
- 8+ years of IT operations experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles, overseeing teams and technical strategy.
- Extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure, including services like Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Active Directory, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience implementing automation workflows.
- Proficient in Kubernetes, particularly in deploying and managing applications with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Skilled in IT security and compliance, ensuring systems are aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Fluency in German is a must (min. B2+)
Verantwortlichkeiten
- Define and execute a clear IT operations strategy that aligns with business objectives and meets regulatory requirements in the financial industry.
- Ensure high availability and performance (SLA compliance) across all production systems, with a focus on security and stability.
- Lead and grow a cross-functional IT team, providing technical direction and fostering a culture of accountability and improvement.
- Architect and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), with scalability and security in mind.
- Drive DevOps practices to streamline software development, deployment, and infrastructure automation.
- Own the full incident response process, including root cause analysis and permanent resolution strategies.
- Maintain compliance with relevant security frameworks and industry regulations, especially around data protection and risk management.
