Requirements
Must:
Architecture-minded lead engineer with a strong grasp of how systems fit together
Excellent communicator and technical decision-maker
Excited to work on cutting-edge blockchain infrastructure in the financial space
Pragmatic problem-solver with the ability to balance innovation and stability
Nice to have:
Proven background in systems engineering, distributed systems, or high-security environments Solid understanding of blockchain architecture and ecosystem (custody solutions experience is a major plus) Familiarity with cryptography, consensus mechanisms, and system security principles Exposure to Golang, C, or Rust for backend and systems programming (hands-on expertise is a plus, but not mandatory) Track record of working in environments where financial systems or custody platforms were part of the scope (this is considered a very strong differentiator)Responsibilities
Own the architecture and system design of new products and infrastructure within the blockchain ecosystem
Define consensus and distributed systems frameworks, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security
Collaborate closely with engineering leads and product stakeholders to align on technical solutions
Provide technical leadership
Evaluate design trade-offs across performance, reliability, and security criteria
Drive architectural reviews and ensure compliance with industry and security best practices
Methodology
Description
The ideal candidate will bring strong systems-level thinking and play a critical role in high-level technical architecture, with occasional hands-on coding. While direct coding is secondary, the ability to understand and evaluate solutions in Golang, C, or Rust will be highly valued.
