Requirements
Must:
• 3+ years professional experience coding in Rust.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Background in blockchain protocols or applied cryptography highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Go or C++ is a plus.
• Familiarity with Rust async ecosystems and frameworks (tokio, actix, jsonrpsee, sqlx).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, testing, and code reviews.
• Problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and ability to thrive in a collaborative remote setup.
Nice to have:
• Deep dive into cryptography libraries (e.g. libsodium, OpenSSL, zk-SNARKs). • Consensus protocol implementation (own project or open source). • Experience with fuzzing/property-based testing for Rust code. • A background in AssemblyResponsibilities
• Design and implement core components of a high-performance blockchain node in Rust.
• Solve challenging problems around concurrency, memory safety, and algorithmic efficiency.
• Collaborate on architecture and protocol design decisions.
• Write secure, maintainable, and well-tested code with an emphasis on performance and reliability.
• Review code, share knowledge, and contribute to a no-ego, hacker-spirited engineering culture.
