Exigences
Obligatoire:
• Completed degree in electronics (ETH, FH, or TU)
• Excellent VHDL design, programming, and debugging skills
• Experience in developing embedded software with C++ for real-time applications
• In-depth experience in microprocessor programming
• Independent and methodically structured working style, particularly in C, C++ and VHDL programming
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is essential; German is strongly preferred
• Goal-oriented, open-minded, and creative personality with a wealth of ideas and enthusiasm for practical activities
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
Beneficial additional qualifications:
• Experience with Matlab or Python in development processes and converting FPGA code from these tools
• Experience with Intel FPGA, Quartus, and Qsys is an advantage
• Knowledge of image processing and real-time algorithms, especially in the context of metrology applications
Responsabilités
• Conception and development of complex FPGA designs (VHDL) and embedded software with C++ on real-time operating systems
• Contributing to firmware architecture, specification, and implementation of real-time software for laser tracker and scanner systems
• Design and implementation of unit and integration tests
• Participation in the agile development process within various interdisciplinary Hexagon project teams, with occasional travel to other locations
