Senior Network Engineer

You will join the IT Department's Network and Security team, whose role is to design and operate Datacenter/WAN/Campus network infrastructure for the bank, as well as key security elements like firewalls. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in network protocols, network architecture, and linux-based network operating systems, and have a strong appeal for automation. Your expertise will help guide your team to improve their stack and work towards providing Infrastructure as a Service. With your team, you will work closely with IT architects and Performance Analysts to plan and execute the department’s long-term technical objective of providing AWS-like cloud capabilities on-prem. **Responsibilities** - Design and implement scalable and programmable datacenter fabric, core network, and internet peering. - Model and operate Campus and WAN networks. - Elaborate and implement firewall infrastructure, collaborating with the IT Security team to meet the company's security needs. - Automate using frameworks such as Ansible or Terraform. - Maintain the infrastructure and participate in day-to-day operational tasks, define capacity planning, perform system upgrades, and configuration changes. - Monitor performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to prevent downtime. - Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for network/security issues. - Collaborate with engineers to ensure systems are designed to meet business needs. - Participate in the on-call shifts.
