AI Engineer (AI for MedTech)

We're not looking for the perfect CV – but for a solid AI foundation, willingness to learn, and the drive to shape Nakamo's AI future with us. • You understand AI in depth. Transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, fine-tuning strategies, embeddings – you not only know what these concepts mean, but understand how they work in detail. • You build AI systems with modern tools. You program in Python and have already implemented AI projects. Frameworks like Pydantic AI or similar are familiar to you, and you've also gained experience with SQL and vector databases. • You evaluate critically and systematically. Hallucination mitigation, performance metrics, quality benchmarks – you understand how to make the quality of AI Companions measurable. You develop systematic tests and evaluation frameworks to ensure our AI solutions work reliably and precisely. • You're eager for productive solutions – even without experience. Monitoring, security, costs – these topics fascinate you. You don't need to have operated an AI solution in production yet, but you're burning to dive into these aspects and build robust, sustainable systems. • You stay on the pulse of research. You follow current papers from the AI community with interest. You understand the implications of new developments and can assess which innovations are relevant for our work. • You enjoy working with others. German and English are no problem for you – so we can build the best solutions together.
