It also has two big wheels together with balancing technology that helps to be agile in everyday activities.

Technologies that we use

Everyone chooses the hardware and os themselves. This is especially important to us because you work best when you feel comfortable. We also are not stingy with the budget.
Our software development process
How can I grow as a developer at your company (career paths and learning opportunities)?
We have a very interdisciplinary knowledge base, and you will grow together with the company.
As we scale there will be new positions and the ability to grow with the company.
Do you prefer always writing your own software for everything or use frameworks if they fit?
We wrote the software for our wheelchair ourselves from scratch. This allows us to make adjustments more easily and be closer to the product.
What are your key values and what are some daily work examples of them?
As a team, we work together and celebrate every success. A career at Scewo offers many opportunities and choices.
At the same time, it challenges your sense of responsibility. Not only Scewo is growing fast, but our people are growing with us. You work independently and take on responsibility.
At the same time, we are ONE team that pulls together on the same rope.
Thanks to regular exchange, helpfulness, and open communication, we learn from each other.

We follow an agile development process. We have implemented short daily standups, planning and retro meetings and we usually do 2 week sprints.
Do you have some in-house tech workshops or hackathons? Is there an educational budget?
We have educational budgets, time and money as well as we are promoting internal hackathons to generate new ideas and keep at the edge of technology.
Can I work on my projects or open source for a part of time?
We have not considered to do so yet - but we would not be opposed to it.
What do I need to do to buy a 50$ educational book on company expense?
Simply check with your team leader and purchase.
After reviewing all the dossiers received, the selected candidates will be invited to a short phone call and if the mutual impression during the call is positive, the candidates will be invited to an interview.
Afterwards, if both parties are still interested a trial day is arranged. Already during the interview tasks are set, which are fulfilled by the applicant. These tasks should give the candidate an impression of how his future work will look like and give us an impression of how the candidate approaches the tasks.
