- We go the extra mile: We work alongside our customers to achieve ambitious goals – each team member makes significant contributions and is crucial to the shared success of the team
- We offer freedom with responsibility: we trust our employees, their ideas and their judgement

How diverse are your teams? What is the typical team size and structure?
- We host members of many different nationalities and operate globally
- The size of the team depends on the Projects, but typically consist of a Project Manager, Scrum Master, Software Architect, several (3-5) Devs, Requirements Engineer / Business Analyst, UX/IxD Specialist, Test Manager or Tester
Do you offer any helpful initiatives for parents with young children?
- We generally support our employees by offering a flexible work model and trust them to plan their work and private life accordingly
What is your remote work policy?
- We have a Hybrid model that allows you to self-organize your Office and Home Office days. Generally, you can work from home as much as you would like. As a Developer it depends on the Project that you are working on. We work closely with Government and Financial Institutions who can require 1-2 days onsite.
If you do Agile - how is your agile process & release cycle? How much coding vs meetings/planning?
- We always work agile and believe in a correct implementation of SCRUM in our customer projects. Usually, our projects follow 2- or 3-weeks sprints with regular and continuous software releases. We hold as little meetings as required, however we stick to standard SCRUM ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, sprint review and retrospective sessions to ensure a high quality of delivered software and to meet customer expectations. Also, we encourage our developers to actively participate in the solution design and exchange with project stakeholders.
Do you have some in-house tech workshops or hackathons? Is there an educational budget?
- Yes, we offer Lunch and Learns (an employee holds a TED talk during lunchtime and mimacom provides the attendees with free lunch)
- You can open a Jira Ticket as request for Education or ask your mimaCoach
- We regularly take part and set challenges (BärnHäckt) and in Spain we host our own Hackathon
Can I work on my projects or open source for a part of time?
- We have topic oriented "Guilds" where Projects can come from
- developing internal tools
- reworking/branding of internal and external sites
