Exigences
Obligatoire:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT Administration and Quality Assurance
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems
- Strong knowledge of heterogeneous networks and networking protocols
- Experience with network hardware, such as routers and switches
- Knowledge of testing tools and automation frameworks
- Ability to analyse test results and identify root causes
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- IT Administration:
· Managing and maintaining our Windows, Mac and Debian machines, networking and other IT infrastructure
· Building and maintaining custom PCs, maintenance of custom water-cooled machine learning hardware
· Installing, configuring, and updating software, operating systems, and applications
· Monitoring system performance and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
· Managing user accounts, permissions, and access control
· Managing our backup and disaster recovery solutions
· Ensuring data security through firewalls and antivirus software
· Supporting internal users with technical issues and providing training
· Staying up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies
- Quality Assurance:
· Collaborating with our 3D Engine and Machine Learning teams and supporting them with respect to QA testing
· Designing and implementing test strategies, leading QA testing, automating testing processes, and ensuring software quality
· Analyzing test results and identifying defects
· Improving QA processes and methodologies and ensuring adherence to quality standards
· Troubleshooting and debugging software issues

Numfum GmbH is a Basel-based software developer specialising in bespoke 3D engines and tooling, founded in 2011 and staffed by experienced ex-games and entertainment industry veterans. Our core business comes from expanding and maintaining Storm, our in-house cross-platform, lightweight, and compact 3D engine. Storm also features a 2D UI and a fully-featured audio engine, which supports and enhances a variety of educational products, including award-winning K-12 Lexia® Core5® Reading, used by millions of students and educators world-wide.
Please note we can only accept applications from candidates from EU/EFTA countries or those with a valid work permit in Switzerland. Also be aware this is an on-site only position in Basel.
